Birthdays, Candles …. and allergies?

With so many kids being allergic to gluten and lactose, I can only imagine how hard it is to create the food for a birthday party let alone having an allergy free birthday cake.

Scouring the net (as I do) on the weekend, I had a look at an Australian online Toy Store that a friend had recommended. They have some fantastic toys from learning toys to imaginative play and so much more in between. One of the products that I just loved is a wooden birthday train. I think this product would be fantastic for kids who can’t have a birthday cake due to allergies but of course we all still want to blow out the candles.

The wooden birthday train from The Toy Bug solves both the allergy issue and lets the kids still blow out the candles. The train comprises One wooden train with driver mouse that has the facility to hold a birthday number, and then six cute animal wagons (giraffe, monkey, elephant, lizard, lion & zebra) with candle holders make up the rest of the train.

This is a great product that can be reused year after year and can become a family tradition that instead of birthday cake you have a Birthday Train.
